OnemorningtheyarrivedatCheeseStationCanddiscoveredtherewasnocheese。

Theyweren'tsurprised。SinceSniffandScurryhadnoticedthesupplyofcheesehadbeengettingsmallereveryday;theywerepreparedfortheinevitableandknewinstinctivelywhattodo。

Theylookedateachother;removedtherunningshoestheyhadtiedtogetherandhungconvenientlyaroundtheirnecks;putthemontheirfeetandlacedthemup。

Themicedidnotoveranalyzethings。Andtheywerenotburdenedwithmanyplexbeliefs。

Tothemice;theproblemandtheanswerwerebothsimple。ThesituationatCheeseStationChadchanged。So;SniffandScurrydecidedtochange。

Theybothlookedoutintothemaze。ThenSniffliftedhisnose;sniffed;andnoddedtoScurry;whotookoffrunningthroughthemaze;whileSnifffollowedasfastashecould。

TheywerequicklyoffinsearchofNewCheese。

Laterthatsameday;HemandHawarrivedatCheeseStationC。Theyhadnotbeenpayingattentiontothesmallchangesthathadbeentakingplaceeachday;sotheytookitforgrantedtheirCheesewouldbethere。

Theywereunpreparedforwhattheyfound。

〃What!NoCheese?〃Hemyelled。Hecontinuedyelling;〃NoCheese?NoCheese?〃asthoughifheshoutedloudenoughsomeonewouldputitback。

〃WhomovedmyCheese?〃hehollered。

Finally;heputhishandsonhiships;hisfaceturnedred;andhescreamedatthetopofhisvoice;〃It'snotfair!〃
